From the ashes of Multiply's "Joanne, by any other name" (2003) arise this space. Now, it houses my collection of significant pictures and angsty thoughts. It mirrors the dark and the light, the bumps and flights in my inner jouney!

My recurring dream
Twqo nights ago, I had the same dream. Well, not exactly the same dream as in a replay of the excat, same thing. It was a replay of a recurring theme - that I am lost, trying to get to a place but can't quite find the right way. What was alarming in this dream was I had my two children with me. They were depending on me to find the right way and I just couldn't find it.

Bangkok 2009
Cebu Pacific's cheap-but-unholy-hours flights brought us to Bangkok in the early morning of July 11 and out of there past midnight of July 15. With Letty and Mia, it was fun scouring the markets and malls for stuff which make women giddy. But more than that, it was the food which made this holiday also worthwhile!

Susan, 53 and Mae, 50
After Mama, Joy's Tatay also in June.
And deaths continue in July. First, Susan Fernandez-Magno, who would have turned 53. Then Mae Espino who was going to be 50. They were people whose lives intersected with mine. Women who shared the angst and joys of my generation.
I realize all the more that Mortality is just around the corner.
