And deaths continue in July. First, Susan Fernandez-Magno, who would have turned 53. Then Mae Espino who was going to be 50. They were people whose lives intersected with mine. Women who shared the angst and joys of my generation.
I realize all the more that Mortality is just around the corner.
It has been strange the past two months. Lately, I've been attending funerals also. Sorry, to hear about the additional loss in your family. Just have to keep a positive attitude and take care of our aging body. I still have a long way to go with my boys. They do provide me the energy to stay focus and move onwards. Hopefully, you'll have a great recovery after the storm. After all, what goes up must come down. Take care.
