Greens with tomotaoes, cucumbers, and carrots. Food styling c/o Yaya Neneth. Ganda, di ba?
Our family love salads, homemade or restaurant-ordered. Not only for their nutritional value but the beautiful play of colors, flavors, and textures in them. Here's some we have enjoyed!
Try "paco" (fern) salad at Abe's in Trinoma. You know, if i can just skip main course and just eat soup and salad, I think I can make it to "thin-land" ha ha.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! We'll try that next time we're in Abe's. The best pako salad I've tried so far was from "Mama Rosa" when they still had a place in Morato. I think they have since transfereed to Eastwood. Next to that, is a version we had in a hole-in-wall in Angeles City. The place is called "Mila's D'Orginal Tokwa't Baboy". Me too, I have dreams of making it back to "thin-land" but as you can probably guess from the way my family thinks about food, that is nearly impossible any time soon!
