8 Things I Learned in UP

Good luck sa ating lahat!

1. Suggested readings are MANDATORY
2. You can know everything, yet still fail an exam.
3. All your classmates are brilliant. Others just aren't studying.
4. Teachers are impressed with no one.
5. Your best efforts could still get a 5.0
6. Every class is like a thesis defense. It's not enough that you understand, you have to know how to explain it as well.
7. Seatworks natin, finals sa ibang school!
8. Ang yabang natin!

  6. Pinakatotoo sa lahat ng nasa listahan ang #8! Looking foward to having you discover first hand the 7 others in the list when you join us for graduate studies. Look me up in the College of Social Sciences & Philosophy if you decide on Anthropology.

Salamat sa pagbasa ng mga tula. Ayan, nadagdagan na ang nagbabasa... 2 na tayo! Hehehe!

  9. 1. Malabo yata 'to. Maybe you should say MANDATORY readings are suggested. That makes it more subject to a debate.
    2. Is this a law class?
    3. Just like my boys.
    4. Yeah, I know you. :)
    5. I always like people who works hard. Perhaps you could give them a bonus.
    6. Must be a law class....defense. How about a jury.
    7. You lost me here.
    8. No, you're not this kind.

Hay!

  11. And what is that supposed to mean? Speaking from experience with me ba yan more than 30 years ago? ; )

  12. Apparently, you don't remember how hard class exercises can get in UP. I've been known to give short quizzes with more than 30 items. Hehehe!
